Arrived safely at Jo and Andrew's late tonight, after a few delays..mainly one on the runway when we got into JFK just as they were cancelling flights cos of thunderstorms, and had 40 aircraft queueing up on the ground waiting for spare gates to go to!!
Good flight over all, great subway trip from the airport, and an amazing lightning and thunder display just as I arrived up out of the subway to greet me. Jo sent Andrew the couple of blocks to come and show me their new abode! Lovely to be here at last! Hope all is well back home with you all, and that you received my brief messages!
Time for a bed. Just had a wonderful shower..don't you just love those 24 hr journeys..(well a 12 hour one to La and then another 5 to NY)...24 hrs door to door approx, not bad really. Looking fwd to being horizontal in a few short minutes!
Sorry no photos, all well here. Gorgeous apartment. Jo still ok, very tired!
