Friday Catch-up

Time to catch up here. Downstairs enjoying the cooler temps. Had a few nice sunsets during the week.
A lassiandra I found on one of my walks!
The grapefruit are doing well, in Toowoomba...
Allan is rejuvenating some patches in his lawn...first get a runner from the edge...
Then Isaac with some water...(he loves to help dad)!
Bec was enjoying her iceblock!
Very precise planting..even more precise than his father! He reminds me of Doug..one of the things I remember him doing! He was very good at planting lawns from runners!
Katherine enjoys making the meals (I think)...a very yummy roast! Thanks Kath!
Sarah and I had a nice time at the Gardens again..despite the rain.
The ducks seemed quite hungry, and made a beeline for us when we arrived!
There were big ducks and little baby ducks (growing fast) and even some teenage ducks! The teenagers were following us!
Rachel showed me the tooth that was loose...then she went and pulled it out...mmm..you are braver than this grandma Rachel!
Isaac enjoyed commandeering Grandma's camera for a bit and took some good photos. Sorry I forgot to load some here...next time Isaac!
Detoured briefly off the road at Marburg to check out this church. See it every time I go to Toowoomba, and have never been in to look. It was very funny as I sat in the car on the local roadway to take some photos...and then when I was finished, I noticed there was a car in my rear vision, just sitting patiently waiting for me to finish!! I pulled off the road, and they just calmly drove on again! oops. Such is life in the country...what's the rush eh?
Allan's flower...grr..what si the name again...not the grevillea..it is ...grr...CALLISTEMON!!! remembered just as I was skyping Jill to ask her!
and there is ALWAYS a silver lining...was out in the yard at Allan's and looked up and found this gorgeous cloud with a silver lining. Very beautiful!
