A picnic breakfast

We had a lovely breakfast picnic in Queen's park yesterday with Allan and Kath and family.
weather was just perfect...warmed up after a little...
and the Macdonald's food was delicious...after it being cooked on the barby by Allan..
Was it a case of the Macdonalds versus the Mac Peakes? I think the MacPeakes won...by 3 heads!

Allan and Andrew kept things going on the bbq...we were lucky to have it, esp since there is probably a fire ban still in the south east corner here.
look at this, you saw it here first folks...a nice photo of Allan smiling...or is it a grimace? No, I don't think so! ;-)
after brekky some of us were on the go again....
and some were content to sit around a bit...or stand, or lie down...

the food was yummy thanks Jo...
the decor even better....if that is possible..to be better than eggs and bacon and sausages...not to mention tomato ketchup. If an American is in Australia and they have some red stuff on their bread, is it sauce or ketchup?
Bec and Liam enjoyed a few words together....wouldn't you just love to know what they were chatting about?

and so then it was back to the merry go round....
while Rachel and Bec tried another gadget....

it is all serious business.....when you are very little , isn't it Liam?
ah, here we go, this is fun...all in together...don't jiggle it too much Isaac!
well, and were we in for a surprise...an army marching band and troops came down the stret, while the police quickly and effectively closed off the street very briefly...
Jo says it was for a funeral...
looks like Isaac might enjoy his (very late) birthday present from Grandma. I hope so. Bye Bye MacPeakes...thanks for coming, in what has been such a busy week for you with the new kitchen being installed...plus all the usual activities...

but was the party over?
no, not yet, hey Liam...lots more fun out of these here toys....

but now it is time to go....and is this Liam saying Hooray below....
no, it is just his version of UP...up on Daddy's shoulders...
this is such fun...
and look at Daddy, he is all upside down...
Ah, Mummy think that is a great photo too!
