Ok...I have decided that I should make shorter quicker posts to catch up here...someone didn't know that i had been sick, so I thought I would let you know that I am better now...had a mild dose of pneumonia just before Christmas (making me cough cough cough), and it was cured in 4 days by 4 little pink antibiotic tablets..one each night at bedtime! Now it has been Jo and Andrew's turn. Jo has had a severe sore throat, which she thought this afternoon might be getting better...which will be good, as she is supposed to go back to work in the morning. Andrew seems to have it too...and very awful red eyes. So I do hope he can rest them, and that they will get better soon! Little Liam had a cough too, but with some magic medicine it has mostly been cured. Although Jo thought he might be a little congested on waking this morning, so we didn't brave the below temps out there today....we went down to see Vincent, the cat instead...our last day of minding him as his owner Tom is back now!
Liam enjoying some gingerbread biscuit Jo bought for him! Wish we had been able to do some baking for Christmas...oh well, just as well there is online shopping! And, Jo has cooked some yummy meals...ah the roasts were yummy...and the pumpkin soup...ymmm...I also would have loved to have made my Christmas jellies, but I forgot to bring the recipe..must look it up on the internet...
And here are some nice pikkies of Ian and Natalie and the kids at the beach....to remind me to pray for Ian's sore sunburnt legs...he said they managed to put sunscreen on the kids, but forgot his legs and feet. I do hope they are able to get some good vitamin or burn cream onto them quickly....as it really does help! There is also some really great burn cream I had once and I have forgotten the name...it was terrific...seemed to put a cool seal over the surface!

And here are a couple of photos to end on...the birds soaking up the sun on the apartment rook over the road...and some donuts for you....I hope you are enjoying the holidays too!
