a good to chance to catch up...
and watch the grandchildren...
at soccer...
the goal scorer wasn't in his usual top scoring form, but did score at least one goal that I remember seeing....
then we all got dressed to go to the wedding of the year...
the gorgeous bride arrived....pretty well on time. I thought she would, being the organized lady that she has become...
accompanied by a bevy of beautiful women...as the best man said in his speech, he knew the bride was in good hands when he discovered there were two doctors, an OT and an engineer for bridesmaids...!!!
the moment, about to be sealed by a kiss....
and a very happy couple walk down the aisle...
the amateur photographer above....snapped by one of her grandchildren, not sure which one. Did you know a camera is a good thing to keep a small 5 year old boy amused with during a wedding ceremony. He is pretty good too!
after the proceedings...a party and more photos...
Rob and family....
Graham and Cari
some snapshots of the bride and her family....

and another little family we know and love....a case of "like father, like son" emerging here I think!
and onto the reception in the evening....a wonderful cake ....
and some dancing....
more relatives...
the happy couple cut the cake....
bouquets, candles, and strepsils...the bridegroom wasn't very well....and his dad not very well in hospital either...what a shame...
the bride dances with her brother....
looks like somebody caught a bouquet ....good on you Brookie....
after breakfast the next morning....
we worshiped together and said goodbye at Picnic Point....
Tabletop Mountain looked pretty good through the trees....Many apologies to some people who may appear to be missing from this photo diary of the wedding (family members whom I didn't get a proper shot of)...there are sometimes when I am not perfect!! ;-)
On arrival home in Brisbane on Sunday afternoon, I had a very sore leg, diagnosed next day (yesterday) by ultrasound to be a blood clot in the other leg. arghhhh. Back onto the warfarin etc. Thank the Lord for quick diagnoses and treatments these days. Let's hope I will be hopping around and playing tennis in next to no time!
