A month in which I had an impromptu week in Cairns to visit my sister
where we visited the library and art gallery
drove along the esplanade and watched as it tried to convince us that it was wintertime...the locals might have been convinced, they are not used to their temperature being down to 24degrees, but the southerners thought it was pretty good
the stained glass window at the library
where we borrowed some books for our lazy week ...I managed to finish a John Grisham and I hear Marg has finished her Jodi Picoult now too

amonth in which Lindy and Michael Chamberlain received their final death certificate for their baby who died 32years ago....the death certificate now officially reads that she was taken by a dingo...
but some photos from down south first

oooh...from Melbourne..I wonder if this was a real mushroom?
and I was able to visit Dicky Beach on a beautiful winter's day on the Sunshine Coast...
a lot of following Grandma's train tracks again
just plain running around
and practicing surfing...
much better and more convincing in the actual water
let's get together and assemble a balance bike for a birthday boy

oops...got this photo in twice sorry
gotta try it out now..
yep, pretty good
and of course a party too
getting ready
for the fireman's party
yay, happy birthday Liam...Hip Hip Hooray, Mr Four.a month also in which a husband of the missing and murdered Brookfield woman has been charged with her murder, leaving three little girls under ten without parents...while he is in custody, they are being looked after their grandparents. What a tragedy all around.
