Laurie in Chile update 4th March 2011

Prayers for Laurie and Gwen in Chile

Laurie has been moved to a normal ward, but on results of tests done on Wednesday, he has to remain in hospital a further ten days. Disappointing for them I am sure.
Guess they must be learning a lot of Spanish by now.
Good news to hear that the travel insurers have been in contact with Gwen again, and that Gwen has been moved to a new room at the hotel with a sea view. Praise for that!

Joanne has had reasonable contact and free skype phone calls with Gwen in Puerto Montt..as well as contacts with a family there, friends of a friend in their church.

Prayers for both Gwen and Laurie, and for skill for the doctors, for great communication and for peace in their hearts. As far as I know the medical procedure of inserting an umbrella has not been done.

It has been nice for most of us to have had some contact with Gwen via short emails. It must be all a little difficult for her.
